Changing Alternator Pulley

Hi,
Could anyone tell me if you have to take the alternator off of the car to change the pulley?
(2.0tdi BKD)

I think yes you have.But its easy as far i remember,10 minutes job,and 1-2 minutes to change the pulley

I would be amazed if you can do it in situ!

Probably just as easy to remove it once you have the aux belt off it's only a Couple of bolts??.
