Do I Need To Do Anything To This?

Hi all,


As the title says really. I've just removed an s line spoiler from a tailgate and I'm going to be getting it fitted to my sport. Never been to a bodyshop before so haven't got a clue on what to do.

Do I have to do anything to it now? Eg removing the grey adhesive that's still on the spoiler as can be seen in below photo that I took.

The adhesive isnt the main worry m8, i would say them two pegs may need to be removed as your car will not have the holes for them to go into, and why dont you install it yourself ?

You will be able to bond that to your car using something like Tiger Seal...

I know they have to be trimmed down, gonna get bodyshop to do that.

Needs spraying before fitted so they might as well stick it on and save me a job.

I've tried removing that exact stuff myself... Don't bother trying, the garage will have a solvent that will make it much easier to remove.
