Lamin x - eBay special tint film?

Hi all, I bought and fitted this -

    Look at this on eBay:

LIGHT SMOKED headlight tint film vinyl with free instructions!

    http://bit.ly/WQWPe3

I found its difficult to fit, it is very thick and forms bubbles almost the instance it touches any surface.. And before you all comment, I did fit it correctly.. I did vinyl wrapping for a company for over a year and have worked with various vinyls/films etc and this IMO was not the best. Once I had fitted one headlight I went out to test light output etc and it effected it rather a lot.. I also took a look from the front of my car and compared the two headlights, one was very cloudy (tinted one) the other was crystal clear.
I even had people flash me due to my one headlight looking dodgy.

So my question, is Lamin-X any different, or a similar sort of situation?.. I'm wondering whether it is worth paying the extra £6.

    Any help appreciated!

just cos its a bargin and you get FREE instructions dont meen its any good
lamin-x is quite thick but any bubbles if you get any will dry out in a few days
light output is still good aswell
you get what you pay for.

Sorry mate I hadn't spotted that reply, I searched but found little.

Yes I'm sure you're right, but I'd like to know if once the film is applied the light passes straight through, or does it sort of collect behind the film still? as it did with the eBay tint. I'm not sure I've worded that quite right, haha.. But I know what I mean!

Okay mate, thankyou. Lamin-X it is.

Only an extra £12 to have Lamin-X over the eBay film anyway, unsure of why I didn't go for it in the first place!

Lamin x - eBay special tint film?

    Guys -

How do I remove the wiring from the fogs? Does it just pull off or is there a nack to it?
