Ben's Audi S3 8P3 Progress thread

[Ben S3 8P3]

Just ordered the first few bits and bobs for the car, and ill post my progress here as I go.

Heres a couple of pictures to keep you going.

So far my impressions are, the S3 in general has really not disappointed. My only criticisms are the car does feel very heavy in the corners and doesn't want to be thrown into a bend, its more of a gradual technique. But it doesn't understeer as much as I expected at all, Its nice to feel the power shift to the back, it certainly has a huge amount of mechanical grip.

The fuel economy is a bit of shock to my wallet after owning a 1.3 CDTi, but its all worth it for the fun

Im going to move to stage 3 eventually.

But that won't be for quite a while.

First on the List-

Number plate LED's
Smoke tints on the back 3 windows
Wind deflectors (but not decided if they look chavvy)
Cruise control retro fit
Upgrade the front discs & pads
ARBS
Stage 1 map before summer + some kind of intake, not decided which
Possibly powder coat the wheels gun metal grey

Nice car.

I dont think wind deflectors look chavy. I have had them on my other cars and love being able to have the window open when its raining and not getting drenched.

Looking for modding inspiration. I did put some LED number plate lights on but they were a nightmare and had to get them refunded
