Just been getting my car ready for sale /Upgrade
i took the battery off cleaning etc ,And now i am getting esp
warning lights and the steering wheels yellow on the dash

'YAWN' poxy new cars annoy me!

any idea what i have to do guys please?
got a few people wanting to view on the weekend :s

Do a full lock to lock on the steering and do a short drive and it will disappear.

Had the same happen to mine. Just drive it for a bit and all will be fine

As the guys above say, drive it round a little bit, Changed my battery a few months back - drove it and all lights went off :)

as above if it wont go off with a short drive
wack it on VCDS

How long was the battery disconnected for? May need to do basic settings for Angle Sensor in the ABS module, this is done with VCDS.

About 40 mins as i got a call as i was doing it ,Now the abs light is coming on occasionally
This is all i need with people wanting to view it .
Will dig the vcds lead out after dinner

What coding will it need?

cheers

scan it, see what faults it throws up, try to clear. If they don't clear, then check the fault code on Ross Tech and follow procedure.
Google is your friend mate, type the fault code and type Ross Tech in google and it should bring up the link.
