I have a 2006 (06) a3 2.0tdi sport with around 115k miles on the clock. The car drives well, pulls very well in all gears and there is no drp in power.
The engien management light however is on. Someone I know connected it to their laptop and ran a diagnostic check. The computer threw up an error relating to teh inlet manifold flap motor. The inlet manifold flap motor is not responding. Now I know this could probably be taken out and cleaned etc and then put back in to run again. The flywheel seems to knock when turned off. However, clutch s very good on the car.
What is the exact part that I need to sort this problem with teh inlet flat motor? If I buy an EGR valve for the car, will the motor come with it or is this a separate part?
