do non Quattro springs fit a Quattro?

I've been offered some non-quattro Eibach Sportline springs that originally came off an A3 TFSI.

I'm aware that the Quattro is a bit heavier so it will sit lower, but will they actually fit?

well I've done a little research..

it seems the front springs in the kit are the same part number.
The rears are slightly different.. presumably slightly firmer on the quattro as there is 70kg more weight over the back.

I think the rear set up in the Quattro is completely different....

Brand new Eibachs aren't expensive, so for the sake of a few quid I wouldn't muck around with used springs that aren't 100% designed for your car.
Don't cut corners on suspension, tyres or brakes... all three play a big part in keeping your car out of a bush.

    True.

After looking at some JOM's I've decided to buy them instead!
