Advice on buying an A3

Hi All,

I'm currently searching for an A3 (not that easy to find in the Scottish Highlands!) and wonder what problems thare are to look out for? Probably will be 2007 / 2008 and possibly the 1.4 TFSi, which would suit the mainly short, urban driving that the wife is likely to do. Pro's and con's?
Any advice appreciated.

Is the 1.4 TFSi engine a belt drive or chain driven cam? Google is no longer my friend!
