Hi folks,

I have just fitted the gateway 100 to my RNS-E headunit in an 8P S3. The problem is, everything is stuffed behind the unit, including the ipod itself which isn't ideal for when I want to update the music.

I would like it in the glovebox but unsure how to do this as there are no holes. If i need holes, where do I put them and what do I need to do?

Thanks

Have u not got a cd changer or ipod port in the glovebox? Remove that and replace it with the gateway?

You fitted your iPod behind the RNSe???

Ummmm - That's a rather odd place to put it. :)

Take the glovebox out and make your own hole... Have seen these docks called Spec Docks about recently. spec.dock - complete iPod and iPhone vehicle integration

Yeah as the cable goes into the back. How do I take the glovebox out?

In reply to the other post, I don't have a CD changer or iPod dock.

I'd love to run the cable to the ash tray but how much work is that?

Thanks for any tips
