Way too much work involved, carpet needs to be lifted, lots of wiring. It can be done. I bought myself some nice quality speakers and amp and sub. Sounds way better than bose.

It's a lot more involved than just getting the bits. If you want Bose, then sell the car and get a car with it fitted.

Surely all the wiring's there, except maybe to the amp in the right of the boot?
All the other speakers are fitted as standard, so surely it would just be a case of swapping them for Bose ones?

I'm totally underwhelmed by the Bose in mine, reasonably clear sounding but aside from that not much I can say in its defence, definately not an upgrade I'd recommend!

I agree! My son has Bose and I don't; I can't tell the difference. I think the normal unit is fantastic when set up to my preferences.

The sound of any system is in the ear of the beholder. If your happy with your system then fair play, I for one though wouldn't buy an A3 without Bose. We have one with and one without and there is a clear difference to me but it does depend on what you listen too.

The speakers on the non Bose setup are all powered from the head unit, with Bose the rears and sub are from the Bose amp and fronts are from the head unit. So with that in mind the wiring is different.
