My Budget bulid

Ive had my A3 for a couple of weeks now, Im planning on a few mods but trying to keep the budget to a minimum,
It is a standard Grey 2.0Fsi with some badly painted interior trim, It did have a couple of Sline badges in the glovebox, Just looks like an offroader its that high.

1St job is to sort the interior out all the trim is badly scratched, Ive bought some new switches and a new cup holder, the door trims had been done in silver and looked crap so that was my first job.

Decided rather than to repaint to do them in Silver Carbon wrap

Im going to cover the ashtray, gear gater plate,

Im going to Facelift the front end but for now have done the Grill black also fitted the Sline badges

Dewiped the rear

Also managed to bag these cheap

Started fitting them this morning but have been rained off

Is that S-Line badge on the right side? I think they should be on the right side of the grill (from the drivers seat).

Is the car actually an S-Line?

I bought and fitted the badge must have been having a blond moment, Its not an S line its bog standard model or as I look at it a blank canvus

Nice Vinyl but you messed up the direction on the gear surround and ashtray! should sort that out.

Ive also finished fitting the Jom coilovers today dispite the rain, I had some 10mm and 15mm Hubsentric spacers from my Golf so have fitted them as well,
Its starting to take shape now Looking for some 18s or 19s now if anyone has any for sale give us a shout
Its not at the height where I want it at the moment as going to let it settle down a bit then come down more

thanks they are easy to fit especially compared to the B6 A4
its all straight forward took about 3 hours in total even with the pouring rain

dude... how easy are these door trims to remove that you wrapped in carbon... howd you do it? thanks.

Put a flat screw driver under the edge by the door handle and prise it out they are clipped all the way along, once you have done the first one you can get your hand behind and they pop off, The wrapp just sticks on use a hair dryer to get it round the corners

Im ata sticking point at the moemt with the wheels and not sure what to do, so they are on hold I looked at a 1/2 leather trim in Manchester Yesterday and I wouldnt let a dog sit on it so Im back to square one

The Joms are ok not as soft as I would have liked but it maybe because its still sat on 17s but they are worth the money for the drop
