I'm inclined to say no as Golf 4 and A3 8L share similar running gear, your 8P is likely to share more with Golf 5.
 
Should do. It's worth checking the model # on a supplier site and see if they match up on both cars before committing as it can be a costly mistake!

I'm glad you suffer like I do with iPad auto correct! Sometimes I look back at a sentence I've typed and iPad has completely reworded it! Does my head in!
 
WTF!!!! standing in the garage with my 1.6 8p1 about to have my coilovers fitting. to find the struts on it are 55 mm not the 50 mm i was told
