OK...so I like the look of the LED number plate lights but being a true Yorkshire man I couldnt bring myself to pay for the LED lamps just yet. So I had a brain wave, and at the time there was a blue permanent marker on the desk...you know where this is going!

So to cut a long story short below are the results - what is your opinion on a cheap mod? Original bulb on the left.

To be honest mate I can see what you were trying to achieve but it's really not the same at all. Trust me, it's worth the additional outlay for proper LED numberplate lights. I have just fitted the OEM A5 ones to my S3 and they look pretty awesome

pretty much all yorkshire men are tight. I work with a yorkshire man who matches the stereotype to the very last detail. Tight, grumpy & stubborn.:laugh:

Get the proper OEM LED lights man!!
