hi guys new owner could some one help me out
i have a 2009 5 door a3
and as we have a small baby i would like the doors to lock automatic after you start driving
how do i enable this

Welcome to ASN! I've had a few A3's, and they always did this as standard. Sounds to me like a previous owner has programmed them not to.

I am sure on a 2009 car you can do it through the menu on the dis (between the rev counter and speedo). If you can't then it can be programmed via VCDS. There are members on here that will be will to help you.

Follow this link and click on the map somewhere near to you (enlarge the map obviously ! ) VCDS (formerly VAG-COM) forum

These are all people with VCDS that will be able to do it for you if you can't do it through the DIS.

It's really simple and quick.

Just to add that what you want in terms of locking shouldn't be used instead of the child locks! They are seperate on each rear door.
