Which size tyre works best with coilovers??

As above I'm getting some new 18s this week but in about month or so il be getting some jom coilovers so tyre size wise do I get 215/40/18 or 225/40/18?? The wheels will most prob be 8j I think and possibly spacers cheers all

I would go with 215's as my 225's Michelin Pilot Sports catch every now & then. My old 225's (different brand were fine). Mine's lowered about 50-60mm on coilovers.

Depends on what wheels you are getting, you want 8.5s if you want to run stretch.

215s look better
I have them on 8.5j 19"s

In the end I went with 225/40/18 when the wheels are on the car il post some pics

That's the standard size for an 8J. The ofset (which you seem to have ignored?) is the important thing when picking tyres if you are lowering!
