Currently have 16" alloys with tyre size 205/55/R16 91.

Thinking about getting some 18" alloys, but need to know what tyre size i will need for them ?

also best places to look at for 18" alloys, my car speck is in the sig.

any help appreciated.

Hey mate,

You will need to spec the 18" alloys that you are looking at/have as they are different widths.

What alloys are you looking at? Post up a pic or the name of the alloys and Im sure someone will be able to help

spec ? who does that for me ?
sorry total car noob here

The correct size tyre for an A3 on 18" wheels is 225/40 R18 and the width of OEM 18" wheels is 7.5J. If your buying after market wheels then they will be probably 8J width but 225/40 R18 tyres will still fit or you may want to fit 235/40 R18 as fitted to the A4 or TT.
