Brakes - A3 Stage 2+

I dont want the expense of a BBK or even an S3 setup as I wont be putting out more than 275bhp and wont be tracking the car really (will do a casual meet maybe once or twice a year). Wont be going past Stage 2+ in this car.

Im looking at OEM size Powerslot (slotted) rotors, Hawk HPS pads, Goodridge stainless lines all round & Motul Dot 5.1 synthetic brake fluid.
Will this give much of a braking performance increase over stock?

DaveB1970 is the best to talk to but I think that anything other than a good brake upgrade is probably wasting money.

It'll make a slight improvement, but nothing will beat a BBK.

When you say slight. I would be happy with a 20% or so increase in performance over stock.

Really is worth speaking to DaveB as he will be able to advise what wil give the best results for your budget. I'm sure you would get improved performance from a pads and discs set up especially if no track use involved but Daves knowledge is outstanding so worth a PM.
