Need some guidance, im looking for a private reg etc, but i cant find the one nor has it been registered. It doesn't exist. Is it possible to make one, all these private regs come from somewhere?

If anyone know any info, please let me know. Thanks

What plate are you looking for? My father-in-law owns a large private reg company so has lots of connections.

Go to the private reg company web site and pick a plate then go to Dvla's web site and put the plate in and it will come up as being available and I would say cheaper as well.

When I bought my plate s18rys I went to a private company and they wanted £499+transfer+vat for the plate went on Dvla's web site got the same plate £250 all in.
 
DVLA wanted £250 for mine (S3 RVV), and I got it for £145 ;)
 
To give you an idea.

I paid £400 for my reg from DVLA which included the £80 fee. This was two years ago. Think I paid £120 for retention and transfer to my new car.
