Hey guys.

I got a 2.0TQ quattro with 65k miles on the clock and got a little problem and not sure what it may be so was looking for some advice. Basically the car drives fine other than this problem. When I am driving at 20-25mph and around 40mph there is a weird vibrating sound coming from the front of the engine. I'm not 100% sure on what it could be, could it be a engine problem? Me personally I think it may be wheel bearings or something on the line of that. Anyone got any ideas?

Murley, wheel bearings usually moan or are noisy. Vibrations are more often related to prop shafts. Get someone to checkout the prop shaft and universal joints that connect the gearbox to your rear axle. I believe that there are posts on this forum which discuss this exact problem. Make a search and see what comes up. Good luck.
