Please help:- RearH/L Brake Light dim - Why?

We have just put LED lights onto my 2006/7 MY A3 SB and the High Level Brake light is now dim.

Everything else works perfect and VCDS shows no error codes.

Is there a parameter that can be changed in the coding to increase the light output of the HL brake light or can anyone advise what may be causing this?

Standard SB upgrade to LED rear lights, inner and outer, using kufatec wiring adapters, taking power feed from number plate light.

Since putting these on, the HL Brake Light is now much dimmer. Can't see why this would be as the brake light bulbs in the new lights are still filament units but when brakes applied the 3rd b/l is definately dimmer.
Could this be an MOT fail?
 
check your connections then mate, and also have you made the correct coding?? sounds like you have changed something you shouldnt have as i have installed loads of these rear LED tail lights and never had a problem with the 3rd brake light
