A random question - is my clutch slipping..?

My knowledge of when a clutch slips - put car in 3rd, riding along at low revs and gun it.. If it slips straight away....its slipping..

OK so this is what I'm getting.. I'm in any gear.. gun it.. no slipping.. then once it gets to around 2/3k depending on gear it slips..
Or perhaps its something else?

Ive just had fitted a SMF (going from DMF) and uprated carbon kevlar clutch (handles up to 500 torques)

Cheers

sounds like its not been aligned/ fitted properly, but that does sound like slippage... take it back to the garage if i were you.

The mechanic did say something about the alignment pins not lining up? So I guess may have done without them??

The box wouldn't go back in unless the clutch is aligned.

The input shaft has splines which have to mate up with splines on the clutch itself.

cheers - this is what my mechanic says also.
The clutch company says to run it in for 200 miles and report back the latest.
