    Wheel selection

I want to try and super impose certain types of wheels onto a picture of my Ibis White S3 to see what the overall look would be. I have a full copy of Adobe Photoshop CS Elements but seeing as its the missus's software I really don't have a clue how to carry out said operation. Ive had a look in the rims thread to see if there was a picture of the rims on a white S3 I wanna check out but couldn't find any.

If anyone could assist then that would be great.

    BBS CH's 19's (225/35/19) on Ibis White 2012 S3.

Just want to see what they would look like before I commit to them. Thought the anthracite ones would of looked better on a white car but beggars cant be choosers.

CKs are heavier than CHs. Different offset too which can make them catch the arch screw etc. under certain conditions. No such problems with CHs

There's an ibis sportback running 18" ch's. It looks spot on. 19's could only look better. Page 33 of the wheels thread.

Mark, asking should you buy some (awful IMO) TTRS Reps or some genuine BBS CH 19's is like asking should you buy a Saxo or an S3! BBS all the way!

Of course I'm biased, but 18" reps versus 19" genuine BBS is no contest.

Well thats a minted set of 19" BBS CK's in Anthracite about to be fitted to the S3. Crackin deal from a forum member with new Avon ZZ3's fitted. Here's hoping they look how I want them too.

Car should be nice for the Scotttish meet in Glasgow on the 1st July.

Might keep the old rims as winter rims as they've only done 600 miles. I've sold the grill.....well just waiting on payment tomorrow. I had a good look at the reviews of the tyres and they do seem to be quite highly rated so looking forward to getting them. Previous owner was an S3 dude so wheels are minted in his eyes.....pictures of them look good.

Good choice Mark. I'm sure the 19's will be fine. I'd definitely look into a subtle drop now though as 19's highlight the gap in the arch.

Post 4 looks like CK2 rather than CK, but will look mint either way.

The 19" CHs discussed above (mine) will be advertised once I get back off holiday, but feel free to PM if you want to get in first!! Mint with 225/40/19 Falken 452 all with less than 5000 miles since new

Those #4 ones aren't CKs, they're 2-piece for a start! Search for member Fusion, he's probably got the best pics you'll find of CKs on an S3 (thought his car is blue).

Hopefully get a look at these on the 1st, Mark.

(edit: the 2-piece are called CK2, or CKII)
