Just installed one of these. Got to say I am very impressed. Installation was a doddle using the optional screen wipes and the fit is perfect. Took about 10 days to arrive from the US.

I would say that it does make the screen a little shinier but not enough for it to be an issue. It's very bright here today and no issues seeing the screen, it almost seems to make the screen brighter.

If you want to keep your screen in tip top condition these are a great way to do it!

I bought one of these and they are perfect. My misses has a habit of pointing at the song she wants and touches the screen which is why I bought one. Stop her mits getting fingerprints on the screen.

I agree that in direct sun light they do have a bit of a shine.

Makes them easy to wipe down too.
 
Yep, not had many in mine yet but a good few of them have tried to press the screen... Doh :(
