Am thinking of getting dash command for the iphone and my pioneer appradio2 Hu
Am i right in thinking that this bluetooth unit will connect to my 59plate A3 tfsi BE?

That will only work if your iPhone is jailbroken. For a Bluetooth obd2 reader you need to get the go point bt1 as it's the only one approved by the company that makes the dash command software. I should be getting one soon as they are on sale on the go point website for $60
