    19's on my lowered A3

    Hi.
I've just had my 2008 A3 lowered with Eibach Sportlines and I'm thinking of fitting some 19" wheels.
Which offset wheels and tyres should I go for to prevent rubbing?

    Thanks
    Chris

i was asking simular questions previously, i have a 08 plate s-line and really want the same springs as you, but im looking for 19's too. what MM have u gone down? depending on how low youve gone will depend on the offsets and so on.

but i was adviced by N8 whos wikid, said if u want 19's go for obviously 5x112 and ET45. or if u want 18's youl get away with ET35

although this advice is vaige i thought it might help.

with the 18's youl need something along the lines of 215/40/18 (not to wide) and 19's something like 225/35/19

Depends a lot on the wheel width as well. 19x8.5 ET45 with a 225/35 or 215/35 is the preferred set up

Post up what wheels you are considering and we can tell you if they'll work or not

Thinking of going for these wheels but in 19" form - they're not in stock at the moment and I can't seem to find them anywhere else.
    18" Autodesign Florida Alloy Wheels

Haven't totally made my mind up yet, I quite like the TTRS wheels but not a big fan of the two-tone colour.

Is it better to go for the 225 tyres rather than the 215 tyres? Obviously they'll be more grip.

The thinner the Tyre, the more stretched it will look. Which some people like.

I'd guess on a 8.5j a 215 would look a little stretched. I run 215 on my standard sports, and whilst not stretched, they do look skinnier.

I'm thinking of 19s as well.
Thing that worries me, is I get some scrubbing on 17s, 215 45 17, on eibach sportlines.

Think i have made my mind up on these wheels:
    BK166 HPB 18" Alloy Wheels And Tyres - Audi Vw A4 X4 | eBay

    Now whether to get them in either 18" - 215/35/18 or 19" - 225/35/19.
I'd like to see some pics of each with the tyres on, wonder where I could find them...

Im after either a 5 or 6 spoke that are easy to clean front and back. I might be better off with TTRS wheels.

Do you get any rubbing with those wheels?
Also, where did you get your headlights from?

Just a shame they are reps, I don't think gloss suits these wheels at all.

Yes was hard to find the concave look as my 56plate sportback had 18s but couldn't achieve this look.
