Hi guys, looking to start tuning my car soon currently finished appearance pics to follow just curious as to power gains with out going too far, was wondering if any of you's could help I have a 170 and would like a bit more performance remap is a certainty just wondered if they was any other advised tips for a bit extra power thank

Remapping would be a start, you could also do the DPF removal which will improve responsivenes.

What age is your car?

57 plate 2008 car will it have dpf?

yes the 170's are fitted with dpf

My 170 with just a remap

A DPF removal and a good map is probably the best/easiest thing to do. Should be looking at 200+BHP and bag loads of torque.

I had a remap and full DPF removal at R-Tech. Improved my 170 to 205 BHP and oodles of torque. They cut open the DPF, remove the innards, have it professionally welded back up, re-fit it and then after forcing it to re gen they delete it on software. This, combined with the remap made a huge difference. WELL worth it.

A standard remap will see you at approx 200hp, a little more can be had with DPF removal.

We have done many of these now with great results & smoother characteristics

What kind of price are you looking at for removal of dpf and remap? And it need to e a specialist to remove dpf? Thanks

We charge £600 got a drive in drive out conversion. DPF innards removed and coded out in ECU, EGR blocked and coded out in ECU, custom remap.
