Hi Guy and Girls

New to the Audi, just picked it up last weekend, is a basic 1.9 TDIe Sportback, looking forward Modding it already, got the MY11 rear LED light, OEM LED number plate lighting and remap on my list, but at the mean time looking ways to improve handling, the A3 “roll” a bit, and make us a bit sick, it’s equipped with 205/55/16.

We are just looking for a cost effective upgrade to improve handling, not looking for any hardcore upgrade like coilovers etc

I got the following suggestion in my mind need some advise on

Upgrade;

Change rims size with matching tyre? 17”/18”?

Change the spring to an OEM Sport? Do I need to change the shock as well?

Change the rear ARB? Are they all the same size?

Comment and suggestion are welcome, want to get this sort it ASAP

Thanks

CJ

if your after 17s i may be selling mine soon after i get pay out from insurance and start fixing up the car... otherwise i will just keep them for winters.

I would recommend you go for some Eibach Pro kit springs as they will make the ride feel so much better without lowering it much at all.

H&R or eibach springs and 18" wheels with a low profile tyre will give you a huge improvement to the handling
