Hey guys, i have been looking at this fourum for months now but have never made an account
I have a 2006 1.9tdi a3 and on the way home yesterday i lost pull from the engine when going down the motorway... I have used the search feature and have found some related cases but mine seems to be slightly different to what has happened to other peoples. The engine accelerates very slowly in each gear to about 2000rpm accompanied by a whistling noise that loudens with the rise in rpm. I made it home nevertheless (just very slowly), there was no smoke of any colour to be seen just this faint whistle when sitting at 2000 rpm. Could this be just a loose boost hose? Or from experience would you say its going to be a lot more costly??
