A3 convertible window fault

Hi everybody I've got a 58 A3 convertable and the rear o/s window won't work so I can't put the roof down I've tested the motor and it works fine and I've even replaced the main window switch block and still no joy any ideas please thanks

How have you tested the motor?

Did you detach the control module thats part of the motor?
