Im considering painting my new style Audi A3 door mirrors chrome like the S3 ones anybody done this before, what materials are needed and how to go about it, can you remove the covers if how to remove them without breaking them!!

Personally I wouldn't spray them.
Keep an eye on ebay for second hand sets as I am sure they pop up every now and again.
As far as I remember, there is a screw underneath the wing mirror which holds it in place. I have a spare one in the house which I will look out and do a "how to guide."

like boydie says you wont get a good result best looking result is to wait on housings coming up, until then if you must id go for matt silver with a satin laquer which should come close
