As per title, would I have any issues with this? Standard set-up is 7.5J 18 ET54 so with slightly wider wheel that's about an extra inch wider per corner. Would this be too much? Car is standard height but thinking about H&R -25mm springs as well.
8J 18 wheels offset 32 with 235/40R18 tyres - will this be OK on 2010 S3?

Someone (N8) needs to make a chart or something of what size will fit our cars.
I'm not 100% on 18s, but ET32 sounds too low. 28mm wider (a little over an inch, like you said). I'd also say that 235s will be too wide on an 8J when lowered, go for 225/35 or 215/35, maybe 225/40 for a shade more side wall.

Wheel size is fine but the wheel offset isn't great for the A3/S3.
It could work, but you'll need to run a skinnier tyre, 215/35 or 225/35.
