    B-pillar Refurb

Hi folks, first post here. Sorry to start a new thread here if this has been covered before.

My driver side b-pillar finish is badly flaked off, at least half of it. Thinking of refurbing both b-pillars by rubbing down and respraying with either a matt or gloss black finish. The pillars are currently a matt black finish on a akoya silver car. But I think a gloss black finish will look good.

Or is the best way to go, get the b-pillars covered in a vinyl finish?
I'm wondering if anyone has ever painted their b-pillars the same colour as their cars finish. Haven't seen any pictures like that on here. That might look a bit weird though.

Any tips and opinions on this will be most helpful. Thanks.

Gloss pillars are available from Audi to less than you'd need for the paint just drill out the rivets and re rivet

As Phil says, brand new MY11 gloss black B Pillars are available from Audi for under £40 for the pair. Very simple job to swap over, drill out the old rivets (3 each side) and pop new ones in. I did mine a few months back. xx

Got mine covered in black carbon fibre wrap, which on a black car looks very nice and understated.
