Hi

CAR : Audi a3 2.0tdi 2005 s line DSG

I wonder if anybody could help me as im trying to get my racketing noise which is coming from the dual mass flywheel sorted as its got quite bad now when im going down the motorway.

ive spoke to a few people about them and some are saying they only have a flywheel others are saying that they have a clutch and slave cylinder ?

from what ive learnt so far about them is that they have some form of clutch inside the gearbox which does not usually need replacing. if this is the case do i just need a flywheel and flywheel bolts ?

Could anyone help me please ?
Thanks

can someone who knows let us know! very interested in this question to!

Etka will show all parts for a dsg box.

someone with Etka could screen shot an exploded parts diagram.... I would but don't have it yet... but you can download it here...free

I have a similar sound on the motorway, at 70 mph it almost sounds like a wheel bearing but it's coming from the transmission.

Strangely this sound only started after having the mechatronics in the DSG replaced along with clutch packs.

It was very faint at first but now if the radio is off it's noticeable.

I brought it back to the gearbox specialist that did all the work and they have to use a stethoscope to listen to various parts next week but he reckons it could by the DMF.

The only other thing i've noticed is a judder on cold start ups.

Has anyone had anything similar and then had it fixed with a new DMF?

thanks
