I'm very fussy when it comes to how a wheel sits on a car. For me they shouldn't pertrude out of the arch and the tyres should never look stretched.
Would these fit? 19x8j et 42 with 235 35 19s eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

They would but if your lowered you will need to change tyre size or it's probably gonna rub.

Car is standard at the moment. Will most likely be lowered in the future, oh well i'll give them a miss. Thanks for the advice.

I would go for 18 max. I saw quite few 19' gone on ebay for good price but I couldnt be bothered.

How much difference does the width make? Looking at 8.5x18 on an SE with 30mm lowered, would this be a problem?

I have 18's on there at the moment. I was on my break looking at it last night and I think i'll stick with the 18's and get some spacers so they don't look so tucked in.
