    Audi S3 Conversion

    Evenig all ive sold most of the parts of my 8p1 3.2 v6 now and have ended up with a rolling shell

    Im looking to convert to a facelift s3, interior front end and engine ive set aside 8k for the full conversion


    My main concern is that is it possiable as its a 8p1 to do it to a 8p3 s3 would most parts pop on?? if you all get me

    Engine set up A3,S3, GOLF, TT, QUATTRO, 2.0 PETROL 262 BHP, BHZ ENGINE, GEARBOX, CONVERSION | eBay

    aiming to get for 3k

    getting all the other parts would be easy

    i would just like other peoples + and -

    most of all if i do go ahead

    S3 badge on or off what would you do ??

    Wow engine transplant! that's quite some work there mate, the link you put up says conversion what does that mean? That they will fit that into any A3? Sorry I'm being thick :D

    The parts to convert the physical appearance of the exterior to that of the 8P3 should cost no more than a couple thousand max, unless you buy everything brand new. The work to get the buts on is simple as removing and replacing front end with a little lining up required for the new higher wings (and also the brackets for these wings) pity yours is not a Sportback or I'd be doing the RS3 conversion with that cash set aside for it.

    Read this thread to get upto scratch with the exterior parts required. He doesn't have the S3 front bumper or side skirts but has all else you will need.

    ill fit the engine myself hopefully but imo the most difficult thing i found with breaking the car was the loom biggest pain in the arse getting that out lining the car out i couldnt do ill leave that to the pro's but eta for getting all the parts 2 months eta for fitting 1 weeksss me thinks fingers crossed ill def keep photos and start a build thread if im confident enough. cheers for the link ill have a look now also any more advice info would be sweet cheers

    Search my posts for my build thread I also done the same, it's a bit of a mission re-typing all that needs doing but I assure you it's all straightforward. make sure you get a good sprayer to match up the colours and the bodyshop is competent. Plenty of pictures and should be simple, that engine transplant on the other hand that seems like it will take some doing.

    Looking forward to some pics, lets see what it looks like all stripped out then!

    What a project. Takes some balls to do this..
    Is this going to be a track machine? Why have you ripped out the whole interior is why I ask. Seems alot to do but wow..

    Im still a long way off so hopefully you will all bear with me but imo once ive all the parts sitting together im going to hit it hard.
    ive seen loads of people only doing exterior s3 conversion and they look the ******** so i thought go the full way with engine, but ive seen some tube vids and it looks like there slow plz help me if you own or driven one coming from a 3.2 v6.


    richh999 m8 i wish i had the money to have it as one but its going to be the family car funny enough lol
    the interior is like that because all the parts i sold off of it

    but im really thinking of keeping the alloys really looked nice in stealth mode

    is there special bucket seats that go in the s3 anyone??

    and why am i doing all this cant afford them lifes a B*tch aye

    an i like a challenge to lol

    There are buckets that come in the S3 but they are not special i.e exclusive to the S3 afaik they're the same ones in the RS4.

    rs4 ones dont flip back for the 3door but yes same in s3 tt etc
