Faulty seat belt warning

I've noticed my seatbelt warning (the intensely annoying 'bing bing bing') isn't working properly as it will trigger itself during a journey, for no apparent reason.

I don't want it fixed.
I want the frigging thing turned off,for good.

Can I ask the dealer to do this,or will their 'rules' dictate a fix ?

You've not got a bag or heavyish object on your passenger seat, have you ?. This may cause it if it's moving around causing the weight to be enough to trigger the system

Maybe the switch in the belt catch is a bit sticky?

I know what is probably causing it.
The point is I don't want it fixed,I want it switched off.
