I've noticed my seatbelt warning (the intensely annoying 'bing bing bing') isn't working properly as it will trigger itself during a journey, for no apparent reason.

I don't want it fixed.
I want the frigging thing turned off,for good.

Can I ask the dealer to do this,or will their 'rules' dictate a fix ?

You've not got a bag or heavyish object on your passenger seat, have you ?. This may cause it if it's moving around causing the weight to be enough to trigger the system /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/noidea.gif

Maybe the switch in the belt catch is a bit sticky?

I know what is probably causing it.
The point is I don't want it fixed,I want it switched off.
