ive got an 04 A3 tdi 140
Lovely car!
battery was flat as i left it stood for a month or two and wouldnt hold charge,
it is 9+yrs old so splashed out on a new BOSCH S3 (there are two but i went for the more expensive one from ECP)
Started her up, first time perfect!
then ping abs fault, red steering wheel no power steering
GREAT!
abs fault went away when i drove it around the block, but still no PS
Checked the fuse, fine
what am i missing out on?
is there a reset thing i can do? is it because when i changed the battery it lost all the previous settings? (radio was in safe mode?)
not sure if it was related but i turned all the airbags off as a friend had all the airbags deploy just by changing the battery haha!
