Ive only just noticed this but when im driving immediately after i start my car, the engine oil is cool and i notice some flat spots when accelerating

Its a little juddery but once the car is warm i believe i dont notice it - is this something that happens when the car is cool

I have a 2Ltr 56 plate FSI Sline

Do you think its worth changing the spark plugs etc - or any other recommendations

Cheers

I have the exact same thing, when it's really cold outside and the engine is cold, I have some flat spots when accelarating, but only the first few miles...after that everything is OK. Spark plugs, dumpvalve and coil packs are all brand new...

i have a simular problem, car just needs warming up, and because our cars are classed as pretty fast as standard, we notice the difference because we no they should fly. when i start my car i always give the engine a minute to get going, then pull away, and same when stopping, i give the engine a minute or 2 to warm down. probaly doesnt help much but its how it is my end :)
