Can 2012 1.8tfsi be remaped?

picking up my brand new 1.8tfsi sportback in 2 weeks time, just wondering if this engine can be remapped? Iknow the older versions of this engine can , but was wondering if mine will be able to

had mine remapped by APR (GO APR MILTON KEYNES) and its seriously fast but i havent put it on the dyno yet.
