Hi everyone,

Many peoples fit 225 tyres to avoid rubbing issues when lowered
but i think i will be the first one to ask,how the car looks from behind on that tyres
and fitted some spacers or lower ET to bring the wheel closest to the arch as possible!
If somebody's got some pictures of S3 3 door fitted with 225/35/19 tyres
on 8.5J rim, than please upload it here.
I cant find any and i cant sleep lol :/

Thanks!

8.5Jx19" ET48 with 225/35/19 Falken FK452s, lowered on H&R 25mm springs - no rubbing.

Stretch with a 225 tyre on a 9J rim if it helps.

Whats the wide difference between 225 and 235 tyre on 8.5 rim when on the road?
I really like that buffy look on that 235!

At a guess I'd say 10mm!!

235's are straight faced against 8.5j rim, whereas 225's will look slightly stretched. 235 gives bit more comfort but can rub a bit.

Thanks Warren i now it's 10mm but i need 225 vs 235 in the same picture if possible.

I'd say 215 vs 225 is the right question with 8,5x19" in 8P. 235 is too wide if you go any lower than a monster truck :)
