Thread: Servicing

Hi guys, seen a few posts about service indicators etc.

Can somebody tell me the mileages for the 'long interval service' and the 'regular service interval'? I had the indicator reset after approx. 14,000 miles but never did the service (now on 14,500 miles). Can anybody tell me which I am on? Or indeed how I can tell.

fixed servicing is 12 months/10K

Longlife is every 2 years or at a guess 18K

Your service book will indicate whether your on longlife or not

The servicing interval on Long-life or AVS service varies according to many factors including how the car is driven. With my current May 2009 Sportback 2.0TDI-140 I had by first AVS service done in July 2010 after 19,510 miles and last week I had the second one done at 37,400 miles.
