    Question Re indicators

I’m after a little help please, what bulbs are used in the A3 with xenon lights I have some chrome bulbs (i don't like the fried egg look with the clear lenses), but having had a quick look to change them they appear to be too big.

Click the link in previous thread or in my signature, go to post number 5 in the thread and at the bottom under the LED light conversion is the indicator bulbs section

Hey Buddy, I bought mine for £18 including postage from a VW garage in Doncaster (Hayselden). Their Email address is dsgwagen@yahoo.co.uk and the parts guy is called Rob. The part number is N10733102 and the bulb type is Phillips PSY24W12VSV. They were selling a single bulb on Ebay, so I asked if they could get me a pair and luckily they matched the price for me. It might be worth dropping them a line or calling them. The phone number is 01302 364141. As Warren says, I managed to shave a few quid off the RRP for the pair and hey as Tesco say, every little helps, lol. xx

If Hayselden can't get you some for the same price, then you can buy straight off Ebay for £39.95 for the pair. xx

yes can't wait....... he said they would be with me Friday wow, he also added that there had been a price change on them, in the last few weeks and they had gone down quite a bit,
i mentioned the forum and he has said if anyone else wants them the contact him, they have a Facebook page or direct and is happy to order / price most parts...

That's great news and even better news about the price drop, lol! I mean, 40 odd quid for a pair of tiny, poorly designed bulbs is nothing short of daylight robbery. £26 is a much more realistic price for them. They really do make a difference to the front end of the car, as you'll see for yourself on Friday. Hopefully a few peeps on here will buy from them now the price has improved. Thanks for sharing! xx

    Bloody typical!!!

I'm pleased for all the fried egg haters they've reduced though as paying over 40 sheets stung!

Thx for the update, and Paullie for her wise buying advice!

Aww Warren, as you say, innit bl**dy typical?? However I must say that your original purchase of these bulbs - which must be dusted with real silver paint methinks! - was ultimately for the greater good. You did it not only for yourself, but for your fellow ASN'ers, convincing us that they were in fact worth buying, in order to eradicate the horrid Tango glow that continually emanates from our headlights. You were indeed stung in the pocket area for sure Bro, but it was for a good cause and I for one am very grateful! xx
