Thread: 2007 sportback upgrades

Does anybody know if I can upgrade my A3 lights to something better than standard? Are LED.s an option? or is it easier to do it another way without spending loads. Any advice or pointing in right direction would be great,

Change the bulbs to something better like Osram Nightbreakers or similar.

Led's are illegal and don't work anyway !

Which lights are you referring to? Front, rear, interior?

I'm a bit chugged off with the dullness of the main beams and sidelights. Interior ones are ok. I've looked at Osrams and Phillips DV both seem alright, but I think I'm gonna take a punt on the nightbreakers.

Ooooo and if there are any better rear lights out there? I'll have them too.

yh here is my 2006 SB with the newer LED rear lights i fitted on last week

The new rear Sportback lights are a must IMO. I am having an issue with one of mine constantly getting bulb erros though, the right outer lamp, what is the actual bulb that lights the strip up?

On the front I've got OSRAM nightbreakers, something like £14 off ebay for a reputable brand, the output is very good, it's not xenon white but not far off - remember to get a halogn to near xenon white colour will require a lot of tinting and therefore reduced light output.
