I was just looking for the possibility of having DAB installed on my S3 when I come across this.
AUTODAB Audi A3 DAB upgrade KIT - Car Vision UK
Anybody know anything about this? Are they any good?
Cheers

I'd like it, but I know nothing about it! Apologies.
Reading how it works it looks like you basically tune your FM radio into it (like an iPod FM transmitter) so the quality won't be any better than you get on FM and it may be prone to interference as you travel through different areas where the local stations broadcast at different frequencies (that's always been my experience with FM transmitters anyway).
Add to that the fact that every DAB radio I've used in cars has been hopeless (not the fault of the stereos, the signal is just too weak) and personally I'd give it a miss.

Compatatible, origional, visable, maunts, intelegent - even if it works fine, I wouldn't buy anything from that company.
2008 8P2 S3 - Black with black grill, lots of extra + LED DRLs and plate lights, MY11 rears, Evoms CAI, Milltek TBE, H&R ARBs, H&R 25mm springs, genuine BBS RS861 "Speedlines" 8.5x19 ET48, R8 Brakes (Brembo 4-pots/AP 362mm rotors, custom DaveB carriers) - - - 317bhp, 295lb/ft - might be mapped

A cheaper option of getting DAB is do what I do.
I have a Roberts Sports DAB radio Play.com - Buy Roberts Radio Sports DAB 2 DAB/FM RDS Digital Radio With Speaker / White online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe! and an ipod fm transmitter for my rns-e to pick it up on.
99% of the time the signal is crystal clear.
From ADI at castle combe to Peterborough it worked the whole way with no disruptions.

Peterborough to castle combe and back is the longest journey Ive had running the radio, and I dont recall having to retune it.
The radio itself is actually very small, a bit bigger than a pack of cards.
I had it sitting under my armrest with the aerial pointing backwards so it wasnt visible at all to me or my passenger.
The radio is great for having on in the bathroom in the mornings awell!
Cant beat bbc 6 music.
I'm amazed that works so well - I've tried using the factory fit systems in a BMW X5 and a brand new top spec Ford Galaxy (which uses a Sony system) and they both struggled to pick up anything!
