    how to remove key scratch?

so it's snowing a lot, and was cleaning my car when i noticed that some retard left a long key mark over the left back panel.
first i thought it was stone or something but it's too long and the moron decided to draw a wave. don't know what to say...
i mean how stupid you have to be to scratch someones car without any reason? what to do with that person if you see him?!
    i'm really pissed off...
so now i have to fix it somehow. is it posible to remove mark without respraying whole panel?

depends how deep the scratch is, if its light then there are polishes you can get from any where, Maguire's scratch-x has always been my favorite........

if it is deep, then your best bet is body shop, yes it will cost money, but how much do you love your car?

Farecla G3 is quite goof for more noticeable marks, but be careful if you use it as its quite abrasive. I find scratch-x good if you can't feel it with your finger nail.

Mutilate him, I had someone key my car and spit on the back of it!

As for your question it all depends on how deep the scratch is, i would use some GTechniq P1 as it finish's quite well by hand http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/gtechniq/p1-nanocomposite-polish.aspx

    U
se it with a Ultimate German Applicator - Clean Your Car and you should be well on your way.

Although if you post a pic we may be able to help you out further!

VAG paint is notoriously hard though, so you may find yourself having to wetsand the scratch if you dont have a machine although that takes some serious balls.

i got scratch-x v2.0 it's great. was speechless when i saw how it removed some scratches. but i've heard you shouldn't use it too much as it's agressive on paint? what do you think? to try scratch x?
cost isn't problem but i just don't want to paint the back panel..
mark isn't so deep but it's long, and since i've got ibis it fills with dirt and then you can see it.

If your using it by hand i doubt it'll be much of a problem, just make sure you work the polish and allow it to break down properly or else you get holograms!

same happened to my old a4. had to respray whole left side..but the scratch was bigger as it was metallic/pearl paint.
