At last I've decided to start own thread about my nearly new Audi S3 I bought few months ago. Amazing car and ride. Very good grip and handling comparing to FWD cars. Very impressed with the power delivery but there is plenty of space for improvements.

Firstly I fitted Cruise control, luggage pack:wub: and Interior Light Pack after a month of owning. Next is remap and possibly auto lights or DP + 200 cell Sport Cat.

Here is few photos taken this morning weather was amazing btw. Hope you guys like it!

looks smart bud white is defo the new black , we sell loads of white cars now as much as we used to sell black cars

Great car, and looks even better in the flesh.

Negotiations in process Matt, should be able to get you an answer in the early part of next week.

Don't forget you've also done the rear luggage pack upgrade

A net that attaches to the hooks in the boot. Matt's other half had her work equipment rolling around the bot before he got one!

Wow! Those pics and the subject matter are absolutely stunning. What a beauty!! xx

Thank you Paullie wish I had DSLR camera though:/

You mean they're not DSLR piccies, Matt?? They are among the best pics I've seen on here (and there are some cracking piccies on ASN!), really looking forward to seeing updates on your amazing S3 too. Keep up the fab work! xx

Great photos are probably driven by Matt working in the field of design. Anyone can have a great camera but without an eye for detail it can be a completely useless tool!

LOL i bought a book on amazon to learn how to use it - Amateur FTW :)

Lovely car Matt! I was going to quote one picture and say that it was pure sex! Then I'd see the next picture and think the same thing. And then the one after that. Bottom line, ALL the pictures are stunning!!! If you didn't live so far away I'd ask if you wanted to come and take pictures of mine for me! lol

No the're not unfortunately :p You can easily tell by lack of lense sharpness and poor blacks + my camera only allows me to use iso 125 therefore as mentioned blacks get too dark and it doesnt support the greatest format in the world which is RAW:]. Thinking of buying a basic DSLR before holidays this year though so watch this space:p. Cheers!

You can use mine but on the plus note .... Im keeping my eyes peeled on this thread matt

Haha that would be great we can meet up at some point and get proper car porn session if you wish:p

Cheers Lil happy that you liked it so much:] Output quallity is purely down to Photoshop + Lightroom two best raster apps in terms of photo editing I've ever come across.

Mate if you have any RAW pictures of your car taken send them across to me and I'd be more than happy to do something for you:].

You will love the REVO. Booked miner in for an oil Service today and the service manager said...you just gotta get that mapped.....my brother has a 07 and its putting out 300+bhp.......I didnt tell him it was mapped already...could be a trap :)

I just noticed on your to do list, auto wipers/lights ?? I thought they were std on black edition with blue tooth, part of the comfort pack ?? they were std on mine but then mine has exclusive leather as std too ?

Cant wait to see how it drives after the remap. Mine doesnt have comfort pack only rear sensors were specced out which is a shame but I'm only 1 windscreen stonechip away to get it fitted. Time will come sooner or later:p

I had to spec auto lights/wipers when I ordered mine.

BTW - Nice car bud! Agree with the wrap, I'm getting mine done soon too! :)

How much does this normally set you back? I've been quoted 235 for the roof and the spoiler done in black gloss. Is it a fair price to pay you reckon? Cheers

I would try and get him down a bit.

To be fair, it's a lot of work, a big area and to ensure it looks good with no bubbles they are going to need some skill.

We share one of our units with a tinting/wrapping guy and he offered to do mine for £70 which just covers the costs of a high quality gloss black wrap.

I would say no more than £200 if I was paying labour as well.

lovely car and perfect picturs mate! something about a new car paint shine that looks so nice...

but i couldnt help while looking at those pics hearing the car screaming "lower me!"
:p

OK guys hear me out I have just done Revo stage 1 remap and its amazing....

endless.......fun and joy! The car revs up so quickly now and pulls and pulls and pulls:D. I knew what to expect but this is no doubt one of the best money spent. If you have an S3 dont hesitate and jst do it or you suck balls!:].

Besides I have some valuable news that some of you might find interesting. I chatted to the guy up who did the remap about getting intake done and then possibly go stage 2+ and he admitted that the current ITG Maxogen is getting redesigned mainly due to heat soak problem and he suggest to hold off and buy the new one that is due to release few weeks time its much better and wont suffer much from heat soaking. In addition when I mentioned about stage 2+ his reaction was not to do this unless I want to have problems with failing camfollower that at some point can shatter and destroy whole engine worst case! He said recently they were working on few S3 that camfollower shattered and destroyed whole engine 9k job and Audi is aware of that. One guy got it done on warranty once but when he came back second time they said no we know your car and one of the guy came round from germany to check the engine and he says the camflollower is not an audi part as it was uprated so we cant do the repair unless you pay for a full engine rebuild! Last news milltek have stopped outsourcing their exhaust parts from china and quality is due to be improved so no more welding issue is guaranteed apparently.

Thats it folks hope you understand my wonderful not grama;]. Any questions happy to answer.

if you check and change your camfollower every few thousand km's (i do it every 10 000) then you won't have problem. it's not that expensive.

he says camfollower can fail much quicker like 8k rather than 10k due to too high pump pressure. Even though you fitted uprated one wont last long and is more likely to shatter:

He knows about 5-8 S3s around that suffered this same issue and all were stage 2+

I could do without going through that pain so that may be my Stage 2+ plans scuppered! :(

Got the same car with the same spec with the Revo stg 1, such an awesome car :) :) :)!! Any chance u could pm the part number of the cruise control? Also u got any pics of the lights and luggage net?
