I paid £1300 for just alloys so with tyres it's not too bad I guess, but mine were better condition.

If you bought an RS3 from one of the traders (eg not Audi) who bought these probably thinking they'd be selling at a stupidly good premium and turn a good profit (£50k in a deep recession for a shopping trolley with some game - I think not!), you may not have a choice of wheels. If I'd bought a well priced car with these rims I'd rather sell them and put good quality rotor reps on that ride these bad boys. Can't believe they've been kerbed to that level already.

Mmmmm....by the time you've added a refurb which would have to include a respray back to OE grey, you're talking about £2,000 and that's a lot of money !!

I'd rather follow Warren's route if I was going to do this and get some in immaculate condition in the grey and get new tyres for them for that money.

Must keep telling myself how much I love my Speedlines....especially when they get back from N8's after they are refurb'ed and fitted with Assymetric 2's... :-))

Speedlines are a lovely rim and by the time N8 has fettled them they'll look fantastic. Only bonus of Rotors other than looking fresh (for now) is they are the easiest wheel I've ever had to clean!

Tell me about it.......going from the OE BE rotors to the Speedlines means my hands and fingers ache for hours whenever I clean them !

At least I can get between the calipers and the rim at the front with the Speedlines though :-)

Getting the car Shark stage 1'd as well in a couple of weeks, so i'll write up everything on here when it is done so people can see how the standard clutch copes with it, along with hopefully a lack of any hesitation issues.

Add some wheel sealant from Juicy Detailing to your list of 'must buys'! I've just got some Chemical Guys wheel sealant and it's much easier to clean them down.
