Hi,
I have a 2011 2.0T BE SB with manual gearbox which now has 1500 miles on the clock.
I've noticed the car makes an annoying (maybe I'm being too picky?) vibrating/grumbling noise when engaging the clutch from standstill in 1st gear, most noticeable on hill start. My supplying dealer (150 miles away) says it could be due to the dual mass flywheel on these cars and could be perfectly normal, but can't tell without hearing the car.
Is it something that I should just be tolerating and is normal with this type of car, or should I be taking the car back under warranty? I've already been to my local Audi dealer who told me the noise was the brakes (as it can be demonstrated most effectively stationary with the handbrake on and the clutch just biting) and also that the 2.0T was just a noisy engine.
Appreciate any advice from other 2.0T manual A3 owners.
Thanks
