i had the discs and pads changed all round 2-3 months ago but i just noticed that when i have the windows down, that when i brake hard to a stand still i can hear a metallic sound,(from front passengers side) sounds more like a creak sometimes,

had it checked in the garge but they couldnt find noting, apart from a worn engine sub frame bush (think that what it was called)

does anyone know what it can be?

If your garage said bushes then that could be the noise because bushes creak when worn.

Could be an ARB bush as they are known to creak when dry/worn. Do you get the noise when going over speed bumps?

thanks for the reply
no they dont make a noise when they go over the bumps,
the garage said that the engine subframe bush was gone but they said that they couldnt see why it would make a metallic noise when braking hard,
the sound its more like a "click click click" noise
